After a little stay in the garage, my Lombard will take part at the
event for the ride in the beautiful landscapes...

January 11th
An very interesting prewar automobile is for sale at the moment at Christophe Pund "Galerie des Damiers".
The only 3.2L Ariès in existance.
The car is better known under nickname "la Punaise", driven by Robert Laly/Jean Chassagne in many races from
1927 to 1930.
Coming out from the Pozzoli collection, the car was
rediscovered in the '50s, and was displayed in the Lohéac Musuem.
The 1927 Le Mans car was shortened in
1928 to received this nice body, including an engine improvement from
3L to 3,2L. (double ignition system)

Only a few days before the 100Miles
of Amsterdam, the competitors list seems now to be
closed.
51 teams will brave the wet and cold weather, but also
the engine... The main source of problem may be the freezing moustache but also icing
carburator. as our cyclecar engine are not really prepared
for winter drive.
I've decided then to switch the Amilcar with the Sandford, probably more
comfortable and useful to face the winter meteo.
